Job summary

Intuitive Machines, LLC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to help build a dual-mode supply chain for high-volume production and traditional government programs. The role is based in Palo Alto, CA or Houston, TX with remote considerations.

You will lead supplier partnerships, assess capabilities, drive cost-down initiatives, and collaborate with engineering on design decisions for manufacturability and mission assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field.
• 8+ years of experience sourcing from a global supply base.
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with cross-functional new product introduction (NPI) projects.
• Knowledge of government contracting approaches and FAR/DFARS flow-downs.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supplier partnerships initiatives tailored to risk, cost, and schedule profile of each program.
• Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis to identify new and existing suppliers, optimize cost structures, and ensure continuity of supply.
• Lead cross-functional teams to assess supplier technical capability, capacity, and quality systems for high-rate production or low-volume programs.
• Drive continuous improvement to address supplier quality, cost, delivery, lead-time, and risk compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering on design decisions that support manufacturability at scale and mission assurance on unique builds.
