Job summary
Lumilens in San Jose, CA is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to build and scale a resilient supplier network for silicon photonics, advanced packaging, and optical components. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- 10+ years of strategic sourcing or supply chain experience in high-tech industries.
- Experience with global suppliers, contract manufacturers, and strategic partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with product roadmaps.
- Identify, qualify, onboard, and manage key suppliers across components and manufacturing partners.
- Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, capacity, quality, and terms.
- Drive cost optimization via design engagement, market intelligence, and long-term agreements.
- Ensure supply continuity and mitigate risk with multi-sourcing and contingency planning.
