Job summary

New Pig seeks a Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Manufacturing to manage tactical purchasing and strategic sourcing for manufacturing operations. You will oversee supplier relationships, procurement processes, and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services and capital expenditures to support production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with data reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and procurement processes in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders to ensure timely procurement.
• Follow up on delivery dates and address delays proactively.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies with warehouse and finance.
• Ensure data accuracy in the MRP system and procurement tooling.
• Lead supplier negotiations for contracts, pricing, terms, and SLAs.
• Onboard new suppliers to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
• Measure supplier performance using KPIs to drive improvements.
• Support inventory planning by advising on purchasing needs.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost savings.
• Communicate results and trends to senior management.
