Job summary

Flotek Industries, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a Sourcing Manager to establish strategic sourcing processes, category strategies, and supplier programs that improve total cost of ownership while ensuring supply security, quality, and risk management.

You will lead negotiations, develop annual and multi-year sourcing plans, and collaborate with Procurement, Client Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in strategic roles.
• Experience developing and executing strategic sourcing or category strategies.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience using ERP, BI, and analytics to support sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, aligned with requirements, market conditions, cost objectives, and risk priorities.
• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs), supplier benchmarking, bid analysis, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, alternate sourcing, specification optimization, and cost improvements.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, including segmentation, performance management, and strategic partnerships.
• Establish supplier performance expectations and use scorecards to improve quality, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and sourcing strategies.
