Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Commodity Manager to own a product category from sourcing strategy to supplier execution. You will bridge product innovation and supplier performance, shaping demand, contract terms, and supplier partnerships.

You will lead multi-year commodity strategies, manage supplier performance, run cost analyses, and coordinate with planning, production, and quality teams to optimize spend and delivery. This is a hands-on procurement leadership role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience initiating and negotiating supplier agreements.
• Experience owning supplier relationships or categories, not just executing POs.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.
• Strategic thinker with experience executing a Procurement process.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year strategy for ~2-4 priority commodities.
• Identify opportunities via changes in vendors, specs, or demand.
• Manage and qualify the portfolio of suppliers (including second tier).
• Track spend patterns and trends to identify opportunity.
• Establish long-term agreements with strategic partners for savings.
• Execute RFP processes and provide costing analysis to leaders.
• Place jobs with Planning and Production teams per supplier schedule.
• Partner with Quality to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and execute purchase orders with suppliers.
• Drive change initiatives within Procurement to document best practices.
• Stabilize day-to-day execution within a category.
• Improve supplier coordination and responsiveness.
• Bring structure to incoming demand and prioritization.
