Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Facility, to drive strategic procurement for facility capital projects in North America, with occasional global support. You will manage complex contracts, lead supplier selection, and ensure cost efficiency for a substantial annual spend.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in capital procurement or related fields, with CPSM/CPM/PMP desirable. This hybrid position offers comprehensive rewards and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and/or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in capital procurement, construction management and/or related field, preferably for projects exceeding $1 million.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or PMP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic sourcing of capital services and construction for facility capital projects.
• Manage a portfolio of facility capital contracts supporting $200M–$300M in annual spend.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic capital suppliers and internal project teams.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide responsive procurement support.
• Support development and execution of category strategies with cross-functional partners.
