Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives within the Supply Chain Management Department at the corporate office.

You will negotiate and manage strategic vendor agreements, drive cost efficiency and supplier performance, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Safety, and Finance to execute contracts and amendments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement, preferably in energy.
• Proven client service experience and ability to meet internal needs.
• Experience in supplier and category management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, persistent and takes ownership.
• Effective negotiator with influencing ability.
• Project leadership and strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify sourcing opportunities through analysis of business and industry data.
• Drive spend rationalization by leveraging regional and company-wide spend with key suppliers.
• Develop internal and external relationships to coordinate sourcing strategies and events.
• Lead resolution plans for issues with key suppliers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and facilitate sourcing strategies and negotiate RFx and supplier contracts.
• Lead negotiation of business requirements for complex contracts.
• Evaluate proposals and provide recommendations based on total cost of ownership.
• Conduct supplier relationship management to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor market intelligence and develop category knowledge to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Safety, and Finance to create contracts and amendments.
• Manage contracting process for new and existing agreements including reviewing and drafting contracts.
