Clarity Business Solutions in Addison, TX seeks a Strategic Sourcing Leader to build and lead a new sourcing function. You will guide a team of three buyers and a data analyst, shaping supplier strategy, inventory planning, and long-term roadmaps to drive growth.

You will partner with product teams, use analytics to forecast and optimize costs, and present opportunities to executives. A strong, data-driven leader with negotiation prowess will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience developing category strategies and leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives.
• Data-driven approach to forecasting, inventory planning, and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three buyers and a data analyst.
• Build and implement a strategic sourcing model focused on total cost of ownership.
• Develop category strategies with 1-, 3-, and 5-year roadmaps.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and secure favorable terms.
• Build strong supplier relationships with multiple sourcing options.
• Partner with Product Management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Use data and analytics to improve forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability.
• Monitor market trends, tariffs, and supply chain risks.
• Manage total landed costs across categories.
• Present opportunities and cost-saving initiatives to senior leadership.
