Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead the Americas Procurement function, overseeing a high performing team and driving cost effective sourcing for North America. The role requires expertise in contract development, supplier management, and compliance with FAR/DFARS and defense-related contracts.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex contracts, managing supply continuity, and guiding cross-functional teams across multiple sites to optimize value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Chemical, Mechanical or other Engineering
• MBA or equivalent experience, Procurement, Sourcing or Finance specialization preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in Contract and Supplier Management, Project management and/or Strategic Sourcing in a large complex organization

Responsibilities

• Lead Americas Procurement function with a high performing team
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and contract management
• Negotiate complex product and service agreements with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and gov/defense contracts
• Manage continuity of supply and optimize supplier performance
• Build strategic supplier relationships and drive cost savings
• Monitor market conditions and adapt sourcing strategies to risk and capacity
