Job summary

FIS in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced Sourcing Professional to manage contracts for Professional Services and non-employee categories. You will negotiate, structure, and optimize third-party agreements while partnering with leaders to maximize value and reduce risk.

As a member of the Enterprise Supplier Management team, you will drive procurement strategies, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing or vendor management functions.
• Knowledge of client or vendor relations.
• Knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Proficiency to supervise, lead and manage staff members effectively.
• Good working knowledge of legal and contracting requirements.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial data to support source selection decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent problem solving, time management, and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads sourcing engagements with internal teams, including needs analysis, market analysis, and RFI/RFP development.
• Develops short and long-term sourcing category strategies with business leaders.
• Facilitates vendor relationships and maintains long-term contracts.
• Establishes systems to ensure and enhance overall quality.
• Sets supplier requirements to meet process and quality standards.
• Reviews supplier contracts for performance and compliance.
• Negotiates modifications to agreements and tracks vendor spend.
• Ensures supplier solutions align with business procedures and strategy.
• Manages product selection processes and ensures alignment with standards.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
