Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist for Solar/Starlink to drive procurement strategy and supplier performance. You will work with engineering and manufacturing to secure materials and negotiate favorable terms while meeting ambitious production schedules.

You will manage contracts, lead supplier evaluations, and develop cost-saving sourcing strategies across solar components and consumables, with on-site work in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in lieu of a degree in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience with solar/semiconductor procurement is preferred.
• Strong communication and supplier management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for solar production materials.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals for solar production.
• Track supplier performance and drive cost and lead time reductions.
• Develop sourcing strategies for consumables, gases and chemicals.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure on-time production.
