Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for Combustion Systems to own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for combustion, engine, and powertrain components supporting our hybrid platforms.

You will balance strategy with hands-on execution, negotiate with global suppliers, and build data-driven trackers to monitor spend, supplier performance, and program milestones as we scale our medium-duty EV/hybrid programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement in automotive or heavy manufacturing.
• Expert-level data analytics with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong supplier management, TCO, and end-to-end procurement experience.
• Excellent negotiation and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and operational sourcing plans.
• Source and evaluate global suppliers for hybrid powertrain needs.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure value and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance; resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead cross-functional projects between engineering, manufacturing, and partners.
• Design data trackers and dashboards to monitor spend and performance.
