Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Lead in Sidney, OH to drive supplier readiness for new product introductions, align with engineering and operations, and build a resilient supplier base for future platforms.

You will manage program timelines, assess supplier capabilities, and collaborate across teams to ensure on-time launches at target costs, with a focus on supply continuity and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, supplier development, program management, or NPI sourcing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and supply chain risk management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-phase programs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with supplier ramp-ups, new product introductions, or strategic platform launches highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier onboarding and ramp-up activities for new strategic platforms, ensuring readiness across quality, capacity, cost, and delivery.
• Manage sourcing-related program timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering and operations to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier capability needs.
• Facilitate cross-functional program reviews; elevate risks and drive timely resolution to maintain program execution.
