Job summary

AMD is seeking a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Secaucus, NJ, or Austin, TX. You will lead NPI procurement for sheet metal components, serving as project procurement manager and connecting MECH suppliers with engineering to support major milestones.

You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, coordinating with engineering, planning, and procurement to meet schedules, reduce shortages, and mitigate risks in a complex supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Business/Industrial Engineering/Management or related field.
Experience in ODM/OEM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry preferred.
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills essential.
Experience with BOMs, demand planning, and schedule management required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of BOM structure and design processes in server and rack environments.
Demonstrate understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (sheet metal, die casting, plastic injection mold, CNC, NCT, MIM).
Demonstrate knowledge of NPI process for server product segment.
Utilize analytical and communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration and problem solving.
Manage multiple priorities with expert multitasking and time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentations.
Plan and organize activities using structured tracking tools to ensure project progress.
Take proactive ownership of issues and drive timely resolution.
Collaborate across teams to achieve company goals and deliver results.
