Job summary

Alcon Fort Worth, TX seeks a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to shape and execute procurement strategies across key Marketing sub‑categories, delivering cost savings and risk mitigation. You will partner with Marketing and Sales, manage category initiatives, and drive supplier strategy from RFPs to contract negotiations.

The role emphasizes analytics, supplier relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration to impact profitability and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to Marketing and Sales leadership across franchises.
• Develop and implement category strategies grounded in analytics and stakeholder input.
• Lead financial discussions and budgeting, ensuring tax, cost and value implications are considered.
• Monitor compliance and risk, and recommend corrective actions across processes.
• Plan and manage projects with clear scope, timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cost-effective sourcing pathways.
• Lead Source-to-Contract including supplier selection, RFPs, and negotiations.
• Build relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders for performance and continuous improvement.
