Job summary

Prime-Line Products is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst in Redlands, CA to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support product development, supplier optimization, cost management, and growth objectives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in sourcing/procurement or supplier management.
• Experience negotiating supplier pricing and commercial agreements.
• Experience working with Asian suppliers, especially in China.
• Strong analytical/financial acumen to evaluate cost structures and impact.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong PM, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for new and existing product categories.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, service, lead time, and strategic fit.
• Independently assess supplier capabilities and advise on selection, allocation, and rationalization.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, lead times, and service agreements within authority levels.
• Identify supplier consolidation opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Packaging, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive sourcing initiatives.
• Prepare business cases and recommendations for sourcing and product-related decisions.
