Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Food & Facilities in McGregor, TX to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost-reduction initiatives for indirect spend. You will align with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value across categories.

You will develop category strategies, perform analytics, draft contracts with Legal, and drive continuous improvement while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in purchasing or sourcing.
• Experience in food industry or hospitality services preferred.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies to reduce cost and meet targets.
• Develop internal stakeholder relationships to optimize value and ensure compliance.
• Drive change across functions and with suppliers.
• Perform quantitative analyses and define SLAs/KPIs for suppliers.
• Manage contracts with Legal and monitor supplier performance.
• Negotiate terms to maximize value while reducing risk.
• Oversee supplier management and KPI tracking.
• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices.
• Aim to reduce transaction volume and improve efficiency.
