Job summary

Western Midstream is seeking a strategic Supply Chain Advisor in The Woodlands, TX to support sourcing, contracting, and supplier management for E&C services. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, and Construction to ensure effective procurement aligned with capital projects and growth plans.

The role requires knowledge of supplier evaluation, category management, negotiations, and risk management to drive cost savings and value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas midstream experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Experience leading competitive sourcing and complex negotiations.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders with data-backed insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Engineering and Construction services.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including RFx, bid evaluations, and contract execution.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements to optimize value and risk.
• Analyze supplier performance and market conditions for cost savings.
• Develop supplier relationships and ensure policy/safety/compliance adherence.
• Support capital project execution with timely contracted services.
• Maintain procurement records and contribute to cross-functional process improvements.
