Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Sourcing Lead to drive cost savings and strategic initiatives across the procurement function. You will leverage spend data, market intelligence, and an integrated source-to-pay process to partner with business line executives.

The role reports to the Sourcing Team Manager in Strategic Sourcing within Procurement and focuses on aligning with business lines to maximize value while managing total cost of ownership. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in contract negotiation, vendor management and strategic sourcing.
• Experience leading complex negotiations and enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial modeling capability.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience working cross-functionally and driving consensus across stakeholders.
• Structured, organized, and methodical planning skills.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of commodity strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels.
• Oversee all spend activity for assigned commodity and determine action plans.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives including competitive bidding and contract negotiations, using Agile contracting.
• Provide category procurement expertise to aid in specifying products/services and demand.
• Maintain industry trends to develop innovative solutions for problems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize projects with demonstrated impact.
