You will oversee the bid process, develop templates, and mentor the Procurement Services team to ensure compliant, high-quality sourcing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with the procurement process in a large organization.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and specification development skills.
• Commitment to the principles and practices of continuous improvement.
• Strong technology skills and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to adapt and innovate while adhering to established procedures.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in procurement.
• Familiarity with New Jersey procurement statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex formal solicitations for procurements to meet university needs using market research.
• Lead collaboration with stakeholders to understand business needs and review requirements.
• Manage the bid process from scheduling to contract execution and award recommendations.
• Develop and maintain sourcing templates and provide guidance to staff.
• Supervise sourcing staff and mentor procurement team members.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate direct reports.
• Implement contract administration procedures and provide training.
