Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager – DC Infrastructure Equipment to expand and scale our data center hardware supply. You will lead strategic plans, negotiate with suppliers, and partner across Oracle to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply and strong supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has experience sourcing technically complex infrastructure equipment and can operate at the intersection of technical requirements and commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing or category management for hardware or infrastructure equipment.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans.
• Experience managing supplier relationships as a primary interface with internal stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating contracts to drive cost competitiveness.
• Ability to perform supplier analysis, cost modeling, and market research.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across business, technical, and supplier teams.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort in fast-paced, complex, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category plans for data center infrastructure equipment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve cost, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency.
• Interface with strategic suppliers and build productive relationships.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contracts maintaining competitiveness.
• Conduct competitive analysis, cost modeling, and market evaluation of supply chain options.
• Evaluate proposals against Oracle requirements and standards.
• Identify supply chain improvements and best practices to boost efficiency.
• Track supplier performance and provide feedback to meet standards.
• Influence product and supplier selection across stakeholders and lines of business.
• Represent Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with senior leaders at strategic suppliers.
• Provide leadership and mentorship across the organization.
