Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for DC Infrastructure Equipment to expand and scale Oracle Cloud data centers. You will develop category strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and partner with Oracle teams to ensure competitive costs, reliable supply, and strong supplier performance.

The role requires experience with technically complex infrastructure hardware (UPS, PDU, busway, transformers, switchgear, generators, batteries, cooling equipment) and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement for infrastructure hardware.
• Proven ability to develop and execute category plans.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
• Experience supporting supplier analysis, cost modeling, and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category plans for data center infrastructure equipment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize cost, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency.
• Interface with strategic suppliers and maintain productive relationships.
• Drive supplier negotiations and implement contractual agreements.
• Analyze supplier proposals and quotations against Oracle requirements and standards.
• Identify supply chain improvements and best practices to boost efficiency and supplier performance.
• Influence product and supplier selection based on continuity of supply and cost.
