Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of sourcing strategies for construction materials and subcontracted services. You will drive supplier partnerships, optimize costs, and deliver value across a $150M–$200M spend portfolio, reporting to the Director of Purchasing.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in strategic sourcing and a proven track record negotiating complex contracts with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Construction Management, or related field.
8+ years of strategic sourcing experience in direct or project-based categories (construction, manufacturing, or similar).
4+ years developing, negotiating, and implementing supplier or subcontractor contracts.
Strong cross-functional collaboration to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Define and execute an annual sourcing calendar for construction categories.
Lead negotiations and draft contracts that balance Roers' interests and value.
Develop SRM programs and track supplier performance.
Coordinate end-to-end sourcing with preconstruction, construction, and procurement teams.
