Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in the United States is seeking a Specialist, Strategic Sourcing – Construction & Project Management to own the full lifecycle of procurement for capital projects and facility upgrades.

You will standardize bid packages and contracting practices, lead RFx processes end-to-end, negotiate supplier contracts, analyze spend data, and partner with Legal, Risk Management, and Finance to ensure compliance and deliver measurable cost savings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of strategic sourcing experience for construction, capital projects, or facilities related services.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis—including financial analysis, bid leveling, and analysis of large and complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex RFx processes from cradle to grave.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for construction and facility upgrades, including supplier management and governance for capital projects.
• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes from initiation through contract execution, including bid strategy and supplier due diligence.
• Standardize scopes of work, bid packages, project specs, and contract templates for consistency across sites.
• Negotiate, draft, and execute supplier contracts with clear SLAs, KPIs, pricing structures, and risk allocation.
• Analyze supplier proposals, perform bid leveling, and evaluate change orders for fairness and alignment with contracts.
