Job summary

JLL is seeking a Sourcing Manager in the United States to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize costs, and enhance supplier performance across facilities management and related services. You will manage supplier relationships, run RFx processes, and negotiate favorable terms while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement/sourcing, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with procurement systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in facilities management, real estate, professional services, or related industries.
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms are essential.
• Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships and conducting competitive sourcing processes is required.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in spend analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Strong project management capabilities including managing multiple concurrent initiatives are necessary.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, contract management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is expected.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, along with understanding of contract law, risk management, and procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and budget objectives.
• Identify cost savings opportunities through market analysis, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
• Conduct comprehensive supplier evaluations and competitive bid processes, including RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) development and management.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers to achieve optimum value and risk mitigation.
• Manage supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle, monitoring performance against KPIs and addressing issues.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and business unit leaders to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract terms, and applicable regulations while maintaining documentation and audit trails.
• Analyze spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; lead cross-functional sourcing teams for complex initiatives.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics; stay current on market conditions and best practices.
