Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Bellevue, WA is seeking a senior procurement professional to design and manage strategic supplier relationships for AWS servers and related manufacturing services.

You will negotiate complex contracts, lead cross-functional teams, and drive cost reduction while ensuring supply continuity and security across global data centers. You will analyze BOMs, lead supplier performance reviews, and influence executives with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalents.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Function as the single threaded relationship manager for a strategic supply partner providing design, development, and manufacturing services.
• Matrix manage supplier performance across cost, quality, capacity, delivery, and sustainability.
• Negotiate and execute complex supplier agreements and statements of work.
• Partner with cross functional teams to deliver RFPs and align on awards.
• Deliver cost objectives through understanding cost drivers and BOM reviews.
• Develop and negotiate sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Inform senior leadership about status, risk, and opportunities via narratives.
• Manage vendor escalations and provide executive updates as required.
• Prepare and present data-driven business reviews focused on procurement/sourcing execution.
• Identify technology trends and drive supplier roadmaps aligned with AWS manufacturing initiatives.
