Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a senior procurement professional to shape global infrastructure sourcing for construction services and data center projects.

You will lead RFPs, negotiate contracts, and drive cost and efficiency improvements across a complex supplier base. You will work with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business goals, ensuring capacity, safety, and timely delivery of critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of related industry experience.
• Experience with best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting).
• Experience negotiating with global suppliers and driving cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for construction services.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and competition.
• Manage RFPs for Data Center Construction with GC, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to drive efficiency.
• Create metrics and accountability for supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives.
