The Metropolitan Museum of Art is seeking a Capital Projects Sourcing Lead to drive sourcing, contracting and supplier management for construction, facilities and related capital projects in a complex museum environment.

You will partner with project managers, design, engineering and finance stakeholders to deliver best-value sourcing solutions, maintain cost control, risk mitigation and timely, quality-based delivery, while supporting reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing including capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of design/construction procurement and contracts.
• Experience with ERP platforms (Workday, SAP) and related tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Lead sourcing, contracting and supplier management for capital projects.
• Partner with project managers, facilities, design, engineering and finance.
• Deliver best-value sourcing solutions with cost control and risk mitigation.
• Own procurement strategy, bid processes, negotiations and supplier onboarding.
• Provide reporting, process improvements and strategic sourcing priorities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and drive continuous savings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Oversee supplier performance and manage risk across projects.
