Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a STRATEGIC SOURCING ANALYST III to support the North America commodity strategy for equipment, engineering services and components. You will drive savings, manage supplier risk, and work with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal to deliver best‑in‑class procurement outcomes.

You will lead complex RFx processes, develop total cost of ownership analyses, and partner across functions to align technical and commercial goals, ensuring on‑time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Buyer advancing to commodity management for indirect commodities.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Proven contract management experience with writing, redlining and negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills; able to analyze complex financial documents and RFPs.
• Experience with ERP and e-sourcing systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to meet their requirements.
• Drive and create savings projects (Reduction and Avoidance).
• Attend calls, answer emails, plant visits, analyse Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Develop long‑term agreements and ensure contract compliance.
• Lead sourcing activities for capital equipment, automation and engineering services.
• Prepare supplier comparisons and sourcing recommendations for management.
