Job summary

Agropur, inc. is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for Appleton, WI or Jerome, ID. The role partners with plant management to manage strategic sourcing, procurement activities, and KPI reporting, driving cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum two years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Minimum two years of business-related cost analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and achieve results.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on the procure to pay (P2P) process for the site, including reviewing requisitions, creating and managing purchase orders and reconciling invoice issues.
• Partner with Plant Manager and Plant Controller on budget management and reporting.
• Partner with quality assurance to issue QIRs (Quality Incident Reports) to vendors as needed per supplier non-conformances to specification.
• Develop and oversee departmental KPI reporting and KPI trackers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to business stakeholders and hold suppliers accountable to contracts and expectations.
• Provide spend data analysis and category management support.
• Lead sourcing events and other departmental projects.
• Identify opportunities across cost, risk, quality, supplier performance and productivity.
