Job summary

Decca Recruiting LLC seeks a Strategic Sourcing Team Lead in Houston to guide a small sourcing team and drive strategic supplier solutions. You will lead negotiations, RFx execution, and cost modeling for complex projects, delivering value and TCO reductions.

The ideal candidate brings 5-8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or project management, plus strong leadership and SAP proficiency. Position is based at HES Houston North Belt with salary range around $125K–$130K and potential CVA

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; engineering or technical education preferred.
• SAP knowledge is required or highly preferred.

Strategic Sourcing Team Lead / Senior Strategic Sourcing Team Lead

Responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives and a small sourcing team to deliver optimal supplier solutions, reduce total cost of ownership, and implement global sourcing strategies for complex projects. This role manages supplier negotiations, RF(x) processes, cost modeling, spend analysis, and sourcing programs exceeding $100M annually while driving value creation for the business. Candidates should have strong strategic sourcing experience, technical-commercial aptitude, leadership skills, and the ability to work with technical stakeholders. A bachelor's degree is required, with SAP knowledge and engineering or technical education preferred. 5-8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, field operations, or project management is expected.
