Job summary

Howard Hughes Medical Institute is seeking a senior sourcer for the People Strategies team at HQ in Chevy Chase, MD. You will drive full-cycle recruiting across corporate, scientific, and operational roles, building pipelines in unconventional channels and maintaining rigorous documentation in Workday Recruiting.

You will source passive candidates, conduct initial screens, and carry requisitions through to offer, with a defensible methodology and the ability to manage multiple searches

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting across more than one talent segment.
• Experience spanning corporate, scientific/research, and technical/operational roles.
• Proficiency with Workday Recruiting and proven ATS documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Source across multiple talent segments simultaneously, building pipelines for corporate, scientific, and operational roles.
• Go beyond LinkedIn with research-specific channels and niche boards.
• Identify passive candidates and build pipeline interest before openings.
• Own searches end to end from sourcing to offer without handing off.
• Conduct initial screens assessing interest, qualifications, and mission alignment.
• Maintain clean, documented pipelines and track outreach and performance.
• Deliver real-time market intelligence to shape team search strategy.
• Manage a high-variety portfolio of simultaneous searches with clear prioritization.
