Job summary

Organo USA, Inc. seeks a Technical Sourcing Engineer to support supplier research, evaluation, and selection on a full-time on-site basis in Phoenix, AZ. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure supplier parts meet design intent.

The role demands CAD proficiency, strong Excel data skills, and excellent communication. Domestic travel is possible; onsite attendance is required.

Qualifications

Mechanical engineering degree or relevant experience required.
Strong Excel skills for data management and analysis.
General experience in CAD software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Research, screen, and evaluate potential suppliers for capability, cost, quality, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing and contracting with procurement department.
Review technical specifications and verify design intent meeting requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Review supplier documentation for compliance (SOPs, CTQs, control plans).
Identify cost-saving opportunities via supplier optimization and market analysis.
Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain long-term supplier partnerships with continual improvement.
Modify 2D drawings using CAD software.
Provide regular updates to customers on coordination progress.
