Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Sourcing and Contract Specialist to lead contracting efforts from strategy through closeout in Alaska. You will manage contracts, perform market research, and coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-efficient execution.

The role requires 3+ years in contracting or supply chain, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and experience with COP tools like SAP and SMART by GEP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years contracting or supply chain related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 5+ years contracting or supply chain experience preferred.
• 1+ year of project experience.
• Advanced knowledge of COP procurement systems (SAP and SMART by GEP).
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project specific sourcing and contracting efforts to develop contracting strategies for execution.
• Perform contracting activities - reviewing, revising and implementing agreements using standard documents.
• Collaborate with BU Partners, Supply Chain Staff, Quality, HSE and Legal teams.
• Contract authoring and language management through review and approvals.
• Coordinate RFX events, bid evaluations and awards decisions.
• Supplier performance management and change management handling claims.
