Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston seeks an Analyst, Sourcing and Contracts to join the Procurement team. This role focuses on sourcing third‑party goods and services, supporting contract negotiations with procurement and legal teams, and leveraging spend analytics to improve forecasting and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze market data, and help develop strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of commercial terms common to third-party procurement and contracting.
• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders across the organization, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
• Robust commercial and analytical acumen; able to distill meaningful implications from market intelligence and internal data.

Responsibilities

• Conducts RFx and bidding processes minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
• Assists in the negotiation of simple and complex Purchasing Contracts, with support of procurement and legal teams.
• Learns and employs sourcing best practices to efficiently and effectively lead initiative and project teams.
• Creates spend analyses and tools to support sourcing initiatives and drive forecasting.
• Aggregates and visualizes data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
