Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Specialist, Procurement to manage third-party goods and services for Calcasieu Pass LNG Operations. You will lead RFx/bidding for spare parts, execute sourcing plans, and administer contracts in SAP and Coupa, while partnering with internal stakeholders to optimize value and minimize disruption.

The role requires five years of supply chain experience in oil and gas, with LNG project exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry; LNG experience highly preferred.
• Extensive experience using SAP.
• Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.
• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and operations processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Challenges stakeholders when inefficiencies or deviations are identified.
• Monitors supplier and contract activity and identifies areas for cost savings.

Summary

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Independently conducts RFx and bidding processes, specifically for spare parts, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
• Execute sourcing plans that secure supply and minimize disruptions.
• Utilize sourcing best practices to efficiently and effectively lead initiatives.
• Performs contract administration, which includes creating and modifying purchase order and contract documents; adjusting, cancelling and/or closing transactions in SAP and Coupa.
• Assist stakeholders in scope of work development.
• Effectively communicates with and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Challenges stakeholders when inefficiencies, process deviations, and strategy deviations are identified.
• Monitors supplier and contract activity and identifies areas for improved cost savings.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline.
