Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing across the system. You will lead cross-functional teams to reduce total cost of goods and services while maintaining quality and service levels.

The role requires 5 years in supply chain or related fields with financial analysis and contracting experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, or 11 years of experience in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing or a closely related field.
• In lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
• Five years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis is Required.
• In lieu of degree eleven (11) years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis is Required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve significant cost reductions and year-over-year savings while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels.
• Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the Piedmont Healthcare system to drive system-wide performance improvements and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure agreements are loaded within systems and products/services are implemented operationally and communicate with key stakeholders including medical staff, clinicians, legal, and supplier executives.

Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system of Piedmont Healthcare to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service level and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices. Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure that all agreements are properly loaded within systems and products or services are properly implemented operationally. Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders and supplier executives.
