Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing initiatives within the system, aiming for cost reductions, improved service levels, and knowledge transfer across departments and clinicians.

The role requires IT purchasing experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 5 years in supply chain or related roles with financial analysis or contracting experience; advanced strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration are essential

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives with the ability to achieve significant cost reductions and year-over-year savings
• Lead cross-functional teams across the Piedmont Healthcare system to drive performance improvements and knowledge transfer
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure agreements are properly loaded within systems and implemented operationally
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders including medical staff, clinicians, legal, executives and supplier executives

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives with the ability of achieving significant cost reductions, supplanted with year over year savings and operational improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels. Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system of Piedmont Healthcare to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service level and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices. Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure that all agreements are properly loaded within systems and products or services are properly implemented operationally. Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders and supplier executives.

Work Experience

• A comprehensive knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices Required
