Job summary

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Buyer in Indianapolis, IN to lead supplier negotiations, category management, and sourcing strategies across multiple commodities. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive cost, quality, delivery, and resilience, while ensuring procurement excellence in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 4+ years in purchasing with an associate degree (or 2+ years with a bachelor’s), and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 4+ years of purchasing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of purchasing experience.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• JD/PhD is acceptable.
• 6+ years of purchasing experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations and category management to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Build relationships with suppliers and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and risk mitigation plans.
