Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 4+ years of purchasing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of purchasing experience.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • JD/PhD is acceptable.
  • 6+ years of purchasing experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier negotiations and category management to improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Position Summary

As a Buyer for Rolls‑Royce, you’ll play an integral role in developing the purchasing strategy across various commodities and executing that strategy through high‑impact contract negotiations, lead commercial activities, and ensure supply chain competitiveness, compliance, and resilience. This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll interface with a range of senior internal stakeholders and drive success to improve cost, quality, delivery and performance.

Basic Requirements
  • Associate degree with 4+ years of experience in purchasing, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in purchasing, OR
  • Master’s degree, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 6+ years of experience in purchasing in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen
