Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Senior Analyst to joinGlobal Procurement and Payments Analytics Center of Excellence. You will lead data-driven spend analyses, support category management, and prepare executive-level insights for strategic sourcing decisions.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, market benchmarking, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence Sun Life’s external spend strategy nationwide.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business or procurement and supply focus
• 5+ years experience in Consultancy, Financial Services, Data Analytics/Management or Procurement Analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• High proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Alteryx) and ability to interpret data
• Strong problem-solving skills with end-to-end analytical leadership
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly at an executive level
• Strong results-oriented project management and prioritization
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams with sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Support GPP’s Category Management & Strategic Sourcing on sourcing events, strategy development and spend reporting
• Extract, transform and interpret data to analyze spend and identify opportunities
• Analyze metrics from RFP bids to guide decisions on awarding and contracting
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to evaluate suppliers and trends
• Prepare data to enable KPI tracking such as category savings and SLAs
• Develop expertise and share insights to improve GPP approaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes
• Other duties as required
