Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Senior Analyst to join Global Procurement and Payments Analytics CoE. You will analyze third-party spend, build insights from RFPs, and partner with category managers to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business or procurement and supply focus.
• 5+ years experience in Consultancy, Financial Services, Data Analytics/Management or Procurement Analytics
• Competency in Microsoft Office programs
• High proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Alteryx) and ability to interpret data, draw insights and state risks
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to lead complex analyses end to end
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and data insights clearly at an executive level
• Strong results-oriented project management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

• Structure ambiguous problems and derive insights into clear takeaways and recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders, producing near executive-ready slides and outputs.
• Lead workstreams with minimal supervision and proactively identify opportunities.
• Extract, transform and interpret data to analyze spend and identify insights.
• Analyze metrics from RFP bids to guide decisions on awarding and contracting.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
• Prepare data to track KPIs and category savings.
• Share expertise with colleagues to continuously improve approaches.
