Job summary

DuBois Chemicals Canada is seeking a Sourcing Analyst in the United States to manage purchase order replenishment, support material procurement, and optimize inventory for production needs. You will work cross-functionally to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency across raw materials, packaging, and equipment.

The role requires hands-on sourcing with strong negotiation, analysis, and supplier management, plus solid Excel skills and familiarity with procurement systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain, business, chemistry, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in operational purchasing or related fields.
• Advanced Excel skills; Dynamics a plus.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and equipment.
• Negotiate and bid to purchase and contract critical materials from approved sources.
• Develop suppliers and optimize relationships for quality and cost.
• Execute KPIs and scorecards with suppliers; place orders and schedule deliveries.
• Set minimum stocking levels and monitor reorder points to minimize stockouts.
• Adjust lead times and inventory levels in coordination with planning.
• Source via approved suppliers to meet production and demand forecasts.
• Enforce procurement policies and support sourcing strategy.
• Handle claims, returns and feedback; close issues timely.
• Communicate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations and Quality teams.
• Develop material categorization strategy and contingency plans for critical materials.
• Monitor open PO reports and run procurement/inventory reports regularly.
• Strive to reduce total cost of procured goods and services.
