Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Project Manager – Construction to oversee profitability and success from estimates through on-time completion. You will manage start-up, purchasing, subcontracts, and scheduling, coordinating site and office personnel.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction/science management, architecture, or mechanical engineering, and at least 5 years in mechanical construction with estimating experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science management, architectural engineering, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction with estimating experience.
• Experience leading project teams and field leadership is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee start-up, purchasing, subcontracts, submittals, and schedule.
• Direct on-site and office teams to ensure quality and budget adherence.
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards.
• Manage profit and coordinate relationships with clients, vendors, and subs.
• Coordinate safety programs and oversee project closeouts and documentation.
