Job summary

The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) is seeking a Manager – Strategic Solutions to lead enterprise data, reporting, and system readiness within the Asset Operations and Strategy team. You will collaborate with senior leadership, oversee policy development, and guide cross‑functional initiatives across IHDA’s asset management divisions.

Hybrid work is currently offered, with a requirement to reside in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with federally financed affordable multifamily rental housing.
• At least 3 years of daily supervisory experience managing multiple staff.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ability to create professional narratives and visuals.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the department's strategic direction in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Oversee daily operations, including closing processes, policy development, and planning.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop policies, procedures and training.
• Represent the team to internal and external stakeholders and coordinate initiatives.
• Support major technology implementations and data analytics efforts.
