Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc is seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure technology solutions for enterprise needs. The role requires translating business requirements into practical architectures and collaborating with engineering, security, data, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems architecture, software engineering, or cloud technology.
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise apps, integrations, APIs, databases, networking, infra, and modern software architectures.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, data protection, and technology risk.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams, documentation, roadmaps, and specs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance business priorities with technical requirements and long-term architecture strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, standards, security, and scalability.
• Translate requirements into architectures and solution designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infra, integrations, APIs, databases, and services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, specs, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, infra, data, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Assess existing environments and identify modernization, optimization, automation, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide value, feasibility, security, and long-term viability input.
• Identify risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and architectural constraints.
• Participate in architecture reviews, governance, and vendor evaluations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance, compliance, and scalability expectations.
• Provide technical leadership through implementation and delivery.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
