Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking experienced Right of Way Acquisition Specialists to support utility-scale solar energy projects across the Midwest, with a primary focus on Ohio. This role involves landowner outreach, negotiations for easements and leases, and extensive travel within Ohio and neighboring states.

Qualified candidates will hold an active Ohio Real Estate License and have land acquisition experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in rural environments.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Real Estate License (Salesperson or Broker) required.
• Prior right of way, land acquisition, easement acquisition, renewable energy leasing, or landowner negotiation experience required.
• Experience with solar energy or utility-scale land projects preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, documentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in rural communities and field environments.
• Notary Public commission preferred, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Willingness to travel throughout Midwest project areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support right of way and land acquisition activities for utility-scale solar projects.
• Conduct landowner outreach and build relationships with landowners and local stakeholders.
• Facilitate negotiations for easements, leases, options, and related documents.
• Assist with land control research, mapping, and project tracking.
• Coordinate with project teams, title resources, and client stakeholders.
• Review and maintain parcel and acquisition documentation.
• Travel throughout assigned Midwest project areas as required.
