Job summary

BEAR Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager – Renewable Energy to drive projects from concept through preconstruction. You’ll collaborate with estimating, design, scheduling, procurement, permitting, utilities, and operations to set projects up for success before construction begins.

You will also grow the subcontractor and vendor network to support BEAR's expanding renewable energy work, ensuring realistic budgets, smart solutions, and long-lead item awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading renewable energy preconstruction initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate estimating, design, scheduling and procurement.
• Proven track record growing subcontractor/vendor networks.

We're looking for that person who can look at a solar project and immediately start asking:

• What's missing?
• What could bite us later?
• Can we build it smarter?
• Is the budget real?
• What's the long-lead item nobody is talking about yet?

You’ll help lead renewable energy projects through preconstruction, bringing together estimating, design, scheduling, procurement, permitting, utilities, subcontractors and Operations so our teams are set up to succeed before construction begins.

You’ll also help grow the subcontractor/vendor relationships that support BEAR's expanding renewable energy work. That supplier‑network focus already appears in BEAR's current Renewable Energy leadership role.
