Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas seeks a Spend Management professional for Technology Software, focusing on software/SaaS contracts and vendor negotiations in a global setting. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security and Compliance to ensure policy adherence, assess vendor risk, and optimize total cost of ownership across software, hardware, and services.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in technology commercial negotiations, strong financial modeling, and excellent communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an excellent academic record.
1–3 years of experience in Technology commercial and contract negotiation.
Analytical capabilities and financial modeling experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder management.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive tasks to completion.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead/participate in contract and commercial negotiations for technology products globally, focusing on software (SaaS/PaaS).
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Compliance to ensure policy adherence.
Create financial analyses of vendor engagements, assess total cost of ownership.
Advise businesses on licensing, vendor risks, and commercial terms.
Coordinate with Engineering and relationship managers to address vendor sensitivities.
Track and report on vendor management activities and spend trends.
