Job summary

Alegeus in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Software Architect to lead architectural designs and drive technology strategy for scalable SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with product teams and fellow architects to craft secure, high-performance systems and translate architecture into concrete designs for development teams.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, 5+ years in an architect role, and experience with container-based deployments and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of APIs, UIs, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
• End-to-end view when designing complex distributed solutions.
• Experience designing for container-based deployment and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/IS or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster consensus on architectural designs for secure, scalable product delivery.
• Develop prototypes and validate them for design, security, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with Product teams, peer architects, and partners to evaluate and configure technologies.
• Lead design and own solutions architecture; present options to product owners and leadership.
• Translate architecture into concrete designs with development teams, upholding standards.
